Strong gusts of wind this morning knocked out power around northwest ohio.Traffic lights at many intersections, like Airport and Reynolds Roads, were out.
Toledo Edison still has 386 outages, mostly in Lucas County.
They should be restored by midnight, Sunday.

They can thank mother nature's ice storm for that.
So during this freezing day and throughout the night- the fire department's door are open and ready to warm.

Winter storm warnings are still in effect for southeast Michigan and Ohio counties east of I-75. Ice Storm Warnings are still in effect for counties west of I-75. All warnings are in force until Friday afternoon. Some counties north of the Michigan and Ohio border will see three to five inches of snow. Some areas may see even more as heavy bands of snowfall are crossing southern Michigan.
Ice is a problem for many areas as the temperature hovers at the freezing mark. Fulton, Lucas, Hancock, Waseon, Wood Counties are under a level one snow emergency. Roads are snowcovered and hazardous. Seneca County is under a level two snow emergency. The Sheriff asks drivers to stay off roads unless it is necessary.
Snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain will stay in the region until late afternoon.

More residents of Southern California were urged to leave their homes Sunday despite calming winds that allowed a major aerial attack on wildfires that have destroyed hundreds of homes and blanketed the region in smoke.
Fires burned in Los Angeles County, to the east in Riverside and Orange counties, and to the northwest in Santa Barbara County. More than 800 houses, mobile homes and apartments were destroyed by fires that have burned areas more than 34 square miles since breaking out Thursday.Fire officials ordered 1,400 more residents to evacuate Sunday morning. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said 26,500 people remained under evacuation orders for that fire alone.
